Looking for graphics mods, UI mods, weapon mods or settlement mods? We’ve gathered a list of the best Fallout 4 mods for PS4, PC and Xbox one with Download Link.
1. Full Dialogue Interface
Sometimes your character something you completely did not intend. This is because of Fallout 4’s paraphrased dialogue system, which only gives you a rough idea of what each dialogue option is saying instead of the full line. To avoid any confusion, and just to be crystal clear what you’re saying, The Full Dialogue Interface mod brings the game back to the Fallout 3 way of doing things. A very nice mod for players who found the inaccurate dialogue trees to be occasionally baffling.

2. Everyone’s Best Friend (Dogmeat + Companion At Same Time)
Dogmeat is everyone’s favorite nuclear wasteland dog. Obviously. We didn’t need to clarify that, but as a companion he can be a little underwhelming, particularly in combat. This mod allows you to have an extra companion following you and keep Dogmeat by your side. He has his benefits, but he sucks in combat. This mod allows you to keep those benefits without missing out on some helpful combat aid.

3. Stronger Dogmeat
Alternatively, you could just make Dogmeat stronger in combat. This mod does exactly that. Dogmeat will no longer put out a meager 1-2 dps to your foes, he will now do 58 dps. Now there’s a Good Boy.

4. SimpleSeasons
Although Fallout 4 is a more vibrant game than 3, there’s no doubt that after dozens of hours in the wasteland you may start to get tired of all the greys and browns. SimpleSeasons brings some life back post-apocalypse Boston. This mod will turn the wasteland into a snow-coated landscape, a lush and green beauty, a Summer blend of orange and yellow leaves, or an autumnal array of leaves about to fall off their trees. Be sure to download the four versions of this mod, each reflecting the four seasons, to experience the wonderful variety this mod has to offer.

5. Any Mod Any Weapon
Fallout 4 limits what you can do to change and improve your weapons. Not all mods will fit on all weapons, which does make a certain degree of sense, right? This mod throws logic out of the window in the pursuit of chaos. Ever wanted to shove a Deathclaw’s hand into a boxing glove, or create a pistol that can fire cannon balls? Then this is the mod for you. Go nuts, and see what crazy new weapons you can create with this truly sandbox mod.

6. MGS Aiming
A neat little mod that allows will switch to first-person when you aim-down-sights and switch back when you stop, just like Metal Gear Solid. A cool mod for players who like to switch perspectives frequently.

7. Intimidation Overhaul
Intimidating is a fun thing to do, I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks that, right? Point your gun at someone and make them do your bidding. Good stuff. But it’s also pretty limited in Fallout 4. This mod adds a number of new things you can do with intimidation, such as shaking them down, putting them in handcuffs, or making them run away. A nice mod that makes intimidation a bit more interesting.
8. Improved Map with Visible Roads
A neat little quality-of-life mod that adds roads to the map to help you get about a bit easier. If you prefer to stick to the roads, this mod is for you.

9. True Storms
The True Storms mod adds a bit of chaos to the wasteland and makes it feel more like a nuclear wasteland rather than just a regular old apocalypse-stricken world. This mod adds radioactive rain, heavy fog, heavier rain, dust storms, and more.

10. Take Cover
This mod overhauls the third-person combat by adding a cover system like Mass Effect or Gears of War. It lets you take cover, lean out and snap back to cover, and even vault over low obstacles. It helps to make the third-person combat feel more dynamic and less static. A cool little mod.

11. Beast Master
Add a little Pokemon to your Fallout with this beast-capturing mod. Not only does this mod allow you to capture beasts and use them as companions, it also lets you customize them and dress them in armor, put trackers on them so you don’t lose them, manage their happiness by feeding them treats, and more. There’s plenty of powerful creatures in the wasteland, why not use them to your advantage?

12. Alternative Start
Tired of the same old start? Played Fallout 4 several times and looking for a different and quicker way to start the game? Alternative Start allows you to start as someone other than the Vault Dweller. Start as a citizen of Good neighbour, a raider or merc for hire, a passenger aboard a sinking ship, a member of the Church of Atom, and more.

13. OCDecorator
This neat little quality-of-life mod makes it easier to place objects onto other objects, making it much easier to decorate your settlements and keep things looking nice and tidy. A must-have if you’re into the building stuff in this game.

14. Lowered Weapons
It may not bother everyone, but personally, I always found it a little weird when your character talks to people with his/her gun pointed at them always felt unnecessarily menacing. This mod gives you the option to lower your weapon and quit being such a jerk.

15. Legendary Modifications
This mod allows you to expand your weapon modding to the next level and create something truly powerful. Create and attach an attribute from legendary weapons or armour to any weapon you want. Some of these attributes are pretty strong so experiment away and see just how powerful you can make that hunting rifle!

Heya,
I'm new to Fallout 4 mods. I just got the game for PC *played on PS4* but I'm a heavy skyrim mod user so I know in general how to use them. (current skyrim game consist of over 120 mods)
What would you folks say are the top recommended mods for Fallout 4? I want to start a fresh play through and my mods I like to use, even in skyrim, are mods that enhance things rather than add things that wouldn't fit in the game world or completely break the game, etc. Mods that add new guns, fix bugs, add new lore friendly content, or mods like UI mods that are highly user recommended, etc. I'm even okay with graphical enhancing mods as I'm on a pretty beefy PC, but again, so long as they're within reason and don't add absurd or stupid things.
With that in mind, what are your top recommended essential Fallout 4 mods?
EDIT - I forgot to mention that I mainly use NMM for my modding needs. I would assume that any mods for Fallout 4 are typically the same and compatible?

The Best Mods out Right Now
Fallout 4 has only been out for a few weeks, but there are already plenty of mods available for the PC version. With so many fun and interesting mods to discover, we've decided to compile some of the best mods that the game's passionate community have made so far. Check out what we've found! And if you're interested, we've also included details on how to enable mods and each mod's respective download links.
:
How to Enable and Activate Mods
In order to activate mods, you need to enable your game's ability to use them first. This can be done by altering a couple of lines in the game's configuration(.ini) files, which you can find and change by following the three simple steps below.
Step 1: Go to your documents folder, click your My Games folder, and then open the Fallout 4 folder. Here you can find three different .ini files.
Step 2: Open the 'Fallout4Prefs.ini' file using Notepad. Scroll down until you find a section marked [Launcher]. Enter a paragraph break from the top and type the line 'bEnableFileSelection=1'. If you have this line already in your .ini file but it's set to zero, make sure to set it to 1. Save and close the file.
Step 3: Open Fallout4.ini with Notepad. Find the [Archive] section and find the line below it marked 'SResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS'. Erase this and replace it with 'sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS, TEXTURES, MUSIC, SOUND, INTERFACE, MESHES, PROGRAMS, MATERIALS, LODSETTINGS, VIS, MISC, SCRIPTS, SHADERSFX'. Save and close the file.
To activate mods, you need a mod manager tool. Wwe 2k19 game download pc only in 3gb. Unfortunately, Bethesda has not released their own official mod tool yet. However, you can download this easy-to-use unofficial Fallout 4 Mod Manager for now. We'll be sure to update this slide with a download link of the official tool once Bethesda releases it.
Craftable Ammunition
: Fallout 4's wasteland is filled with workbenches where you can customize weapons and craft items. But you would think with that with all the random junk you find throughout the game you'd be able to craft ammo too. Thankfully, this patch lets you craft any kind of ammo you want, as long as you've reached the required Gun Nut, Demolition, and Science perk levels.
Here's the mod's download link.
Lowered Weapons
: This simple mod makes it so your character will lower their weapon when they're not firing it. While it's mostly a minor cosmetic touch, it's a great mod for those looking to increase their level of immersion.

Creature Follower
: Have you ever wished you could have one of the wasteland's various creatures join you on your adventures as a companion? This mod lets you do just that, giving you the ability to issue commands to them like a normal companion NPC, with the exception of the relationship option. Compatible companion creatures include: a Deathclaw, a Yao Guai, a Gen 1 Synth, a Gen 2 Synth, a Mutant Hound, a Super Mutant Behemoth, a Raider Dog, a Gorilla, a Radscorpion, a Vicious Dog, or a Cat.

Atom Bomb Baby
: This mod literally turns the Fatman Launcher's nukes into your character's son, Shaun. We're not kidding, you can fire a potent 'Shaun Nuke' into enemies for some serious damage. It's fantastic.

Full Dialogue Interface
: If you ever had a problem with the vague way that Fallout 4 displays its dialogue choices, then this mod is for you. It translates every dialogue choice down to its exact response, allowing you to say what you mean.

Enhanced Wasteland Preset
: While Fallout 4's new visual style is more colorful than its predecessors, it still appears a bit washed out. Luckily, this mod helps reduce this quality to increase the color and vibrancy of the game's textures and lighting.
: The Stalker Lightning mod changes the game's visuals, altering some of its colors and optics to be more dreary, harsh, and atmospheric. This one is ideal for those who prefer a post-apocalyptic world that's less vibrant and colorful than what's presented in the main game.
Here's the mod's download link.
Improved Map
: Did you ever find yourself having trouble with Fallout 4's sometimes indecipherable map? Well, you're not alone. Someone created a mod that solves the issue by increasing the map's contrast and clearly defining its roads, topography, and waterlines.
Here's the mod's download link.
More Armor Slots
: This mod lets you utilize all five armor slots on any of the outfits that typically take up all slots, like tuxedos, dresses, and clean suits. It's an ideal mod to have for those who want the extra added stat boosts of armor pieces on top of a special outfit with strong statistics. However, it's worth noting that since the armor parts weren't designed to be layered on to certain outfits, there is a significant amount of clipping.

Fallout 4 Configuration Tool
: The Configuration Tool lets you unlock tweaks and options not readily accessible through the game's launcher and setting menu. For example, you can unlock the frame rate, change the color of the UI, expand the game's field of view, adjust mouse sensitivity, customize lighting and shadows, and much more. This mod is a must for players who love to customize and tailor the game's settings at the most granular level.

Texture Optimization
: The framerate of Fallout 4 can take some major dips at times, especially in the game's larger areas or grand combat situations. Thankfully, the Texture Optimization mod reduces this problem without sacrificing visual fidelity by replacing higher texture files with smaller ones, improving performance all around.
Here's the mod's download link.
Higher Settlement Budget
: This mod is a godsend to all creative settlement builders out there, as it removes the building budget completely. Download it and you can build to your heart's content without restrictions, assembling settlements and structures as grand and extensive as you want.
